Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips for added texture

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and creamy peanut butter. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them together until smooth and creamy.

Gradually sift in the powdered sugar, mixing continuously. This helps to avoid lumps and ensures a silky smooth texture.

Add in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing well until everything is fully incorporated.

If you desire added texture, fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips at this stage.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Pour the fudge mixture into the lined dish, spreading it evenly with a rubber spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Once set, remove the fudge from the baking dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles based on your preferred size.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks (if they last that long!).
