Ingredients
  

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 ounces andouille sausage, sliced

2 cups bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Cooked rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Set aside.

    Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced andouille sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

      Add the Veggies: Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, or until the veggies are tender-crisp.

        Cook the Shrimp: Push the sausage and veggies to the side of the pan. In the cleared space, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.

          Combine and Sauce: Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp, sausage, and veggies. Stir everything together to combine. If you prefer a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch slurry at this point and cook for an additional minute.

            Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley or green onions if desired. Serve over cooked rice or quinoa, and enjoy!
