Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of half a lemon

Cooked pasta or rice (for serving)

Instructions

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink, then flip them and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!

Add Liquids: Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze, then let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, allowing it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.

Combine: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the creamy sauce. Squeeze in the lemon juice for a fresh finish and let it cook together for another minute.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over cooked pasta or rice. Enjoy your delightful meal!
