Ingredients

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits

1 lb breakfast sausage

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and thoroughly cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Cut each biscuit into quarters and arrange them evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Scatter the cooked sausage over the biscuits, and then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit, sausage, and cheese layer in the casserole dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the top is lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
