Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup heavy cream

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon fillets on the sheet and drizzle olive oil over them. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce: While the salmon is baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Cream and Lemon: Pour in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir well and simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve: Once the salmon is ready, remove it from the oven and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle the lemon butter cream sauce over the salmon. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
