1 large green cabbage

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Cabbage: Remove any outer wilted leaves from the cabbage. Carefully slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks, starting from the center and cutting downwards. You should aim for 4 to 6 steaks.

      Season the Steaks: On a large baking sheet, lay out the cabbage steaks. Drizzle both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) evenly over the steaks.

        Add Balsamic Touch: Drizzle balsamic vinegar over each steak to enhance the flavor.

          Bake the Cabbage: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake the cabbage steaks for about 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are tender and have a nice golden brown color.
