Ingredients
  

1 pound breakfast sausage, casings removed

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuit dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease.

      In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended and creamy.

        Open the can of biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.

          Spoon a generous tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit.

            Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the filling.

              Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch them together to seal. Place the bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuit bites are golden brown and cooked through.

                  Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a serving platter.

                    Garnish with chopped fresh chives and serve warm.
