Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the butter and olive oil. Once melted, sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Cream Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the heavy cream, lemon juice, half of the Parmesan cheese, and half of the parsley. Stir well to combine.

Combine and Layer: In a baking dish, spread the sautéed shrimp evenly. Pour the cream mixture over the shrimp, ensuring everything is well coated.

Top with Toppings: In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with the remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the shrimp and cream.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Serve: Once done, let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
