Ingredients

1 large loaf of crusty bread (French or Italian)

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup green onions, sliced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: hot sauce for an extra kick

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread: Carefully slice the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the inside, leaving about 1-inch of the bread on all sides to create a sturdy shell. Set the removed bread aside for snack or for another recipe.

Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Stuff the Bread: Spoon the chicken and bacon mixture into the hollowed-out loaf, packing it gently to ensure even distribution.

Top It Off: Place the top back on the stuffed bread or leave it off for a cheesy crusty topping. If desired, sprinkle additional cheddar cheese on top for extra cheesiness.

Bake: Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and slice into thick pieces. Serve warm, with additional ranch dressing or hot sauce on the side if desired.
