Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld (you can marinate it up to 2 hours in the refrigerator).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the sheet, skin-side down. Pour any remaining marinade over the fillets. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Broil for a Finish (Optional): For an extra caramelized finish, switch the oven setting to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
