Ingredients

1 lb (450g) boneless skinless chicken thighs

1/4 cup brown sugar

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and paprika. Whisk well until the brown sugar is mostly dissolved.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Glaze the Chicken: Once the chicken is browned, pour the prepared brown sugar garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the chicken.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish the chicken with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over rice or alongside steamed vegetables.
