Ingredients
  

1 cup pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing muffin tin

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a standard muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil.

    Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness. Cut out circles with a diameter slightly larger than the muffin cups (you can use a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass).

      Press each dough circle into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup, creating a mini crust.

        Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each dough cup, ensuring you don't overfill them.

          Add a layer of shredded mozzarella, followed by crumbled sausage and pepperoni slices. Sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan on top.

            Season each cupcake with a sprinkle of dried oregano and garlic powder for extra flavor.

              Take any leftover pizza dough and roll it out again; cut out small circles to place on top of the fillings as a mini lid, sealing the edges with a fork.

                Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

                  Allow the cupcakes to cool in the muffin tin for about 5 minutes before carefully removing them with a fork or small spatula.

                    Serve warm, optionally drizzling with more pizza sauce or garnishing with fresh basil.
