Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreo or Graham crackers)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons sugar

For the Cheesecake Filling:

16 oz cream cheese, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

½ cup sour cream

½ cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)

For the Toppings:

1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 4-5 bars)

½ cup caramel sauce

½ cup chocolate ganache (made from 4 oz chocolate and ½ cup heavy cream)

Whipped cream, for garnish

Chopped peanuts, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form a crust.

          - Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely.

            Make the Cheesecake Filling:

              - In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.

                - Add in the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.

                  - Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.

                    - Fold in the sour cream and whipped topping until smooth and well blended.

                      Assemble the Cheesecake Pie:

                        - Pour half of the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.

                          - Sprinkle half of the chopped Snickers bars over the filling.

                            - Pour the remaining cheesecake filling on top and spread evenly.

                              - Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the door, letting the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour to avoid cracks.

                                Chill the Pie:

                                  - Remove from the oven and let the cheesecake cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

                                    Add Toppings:

                                      - Once chilled, drizzle the caramel sauce and chocolate ganache over the top.

                                        - Sprinkle the remaining chopped Snickers and chopped peanuts on top.

                                          - Garnish with dollops of whipped cream around the edges, if desired.

                                            Serve:

                                              - Slice and serve chilled, enjoying this decadent treat!
