Ingredients

1 lb (450g) salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

¼ cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes) and season with salt and pepper.

Coat the Bites: In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge each piece of salmon in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Fry the Salmon Bites: Add the coated salmon pieces to the skillet in a single layer (do this in batches if necessary). Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Glaze the Salmon: Return the crispy salmon bites to the skillet and toss them in the honey garlic sauce until well coated. Cook for an additional minute.

Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Enjoy your delicious and crispy honey garlic salmon bites!
