Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup baby spinach

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, and Italian seasoning. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes, until the spinach has wilted and the sauce has slightly thickened.

Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to combine and ensuring that the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
