Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until soft. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

Add the Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and stir in the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then add in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is well combined and creamy.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, and stir well to coat the pasta in the creamy beef sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.

Serve: Remove from the heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious creamy beef and bowtie pasta!
