Ingredients

For the Donuts:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Filling:

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup canned peaches, drained and diced

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker filling)

For the Topping:

1 cup crumb topping (mix of flour, brown sugar, and butter)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Make the Donut Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, sour cream, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.

Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, diced peaches, and cornstarch (if using) until evenly mixed.

Fill the Donut Pan: Spoon half of the donut batter into the pan, filling each cavity about halfway. Add a dollop of the peach cheesecake filling in the center and then top it with remaining donut batter until just full.

Make the Crumb Topping: In a bowl, mix the crumb topping ingredients (flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and sugar) until crumbly. Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over each filled donut.

Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the donuts are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool: Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Serve the donuts warm or at room temperature, topped with a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Enjoy the delightful mix of peach cobbler with a creamy cheesecake twist!
