Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent rolls

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Fresh fruit or chocolate drizzle for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Unroll the crescent rolls and spread them out on a large baking sheet, pinching the seams to create one large rectangular crust. Make sure it's evenly distributed.

Brush the melted butter over the crescent dough.

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Sprinkle half of this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Bake the crescent dough in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it’s golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

While the dough is cooling, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

Once the crescent pizza has cooled for about 5 minutes, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the top.

Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cream cheese layer.

If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans for added crunch.

For an optional finishing touch, add fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate over the top.

Slice into squares or wedges and serve warm or at room temperature.
