Ingredients

1 can of crescent dough rolls

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for added crunch

Instructions

Prep the Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the crescent dough onto a lightly floured surface, maintaining the triangle shape.

Make the Cinnamon Filling: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Brush the melted butter across each triangle of dough, then sprinkle a generous amount of the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over the top.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wider end of the triangle, roll the dough tightly toward the point to form a roll. Repeat with all the triangles.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Dip the Rolls: Lightly grease a baking dish. Dip each cinnamon roll in the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off before placing them seam-side down in the prepared dish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve: Let the rolls cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top. If desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts for added texture.
