Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for drizzling)

2 tbsp butter, melted (for cooking)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Optional: fresh berries or sliced bananas (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Open the refrigerated cinnamon roll dough and separate each roll. Unroll each piece of dough into a flat strip about 1/4 inch thick.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Take each unrolled cinnamon roll and dip it into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the melted butter.

Place the dipped cinnamon roll strips in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the skillet and place the cooked rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all strips.

Once all the rolls are cooked, place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes to firm them up.

While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the powdered sugar with a little milk until it reaches your desired drizzling consistency.

Once out of the oven, drizzle the icing over the warm rolls and serve immediately with maple syrup and optional fresh berries or sliced bananas for a delightful presentation.
