6 large slices of white bread (or your favorite bread)

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for the filling)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter (for frying)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Bread: Trim the crusts off of each slice of bread. Use a rolling pin to gently flatten each slice to about 1/4 inch thickness. This will help in rolling them up easily.

    Make the Filling: In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Mix until smooth and well combined.

      Fill the Bread: Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice of flattened bread. Roll the bread tightly from one end to the other, forming a roll-up. Secure them with a toothpick if necessary.

        Prepare the Egg Mixture: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and granulated sugar until well combined.
