Ingredients
ย ย

2 large oranges (preferably navel or blood oranges)

1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoothness)

Sea salt (for garnish)

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or edible glitter

Instructions
ย

Prepare the Oranges: Start by washing the oranges thoroughly. Slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds, removing any seeds as you go. Pat the slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Melt the Chocolate: In a small saucepan, gently melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil (if using) over low heat. Stir continuously until smooth and completely melted. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in the microwave using short 30-second bursts, stirring in between until fully melted.

Dip the Orange Slices: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dip each orange slice into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated on one side. Use a fork to lift the slice out, letting any excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.

Place on Parchment: Lay the chocolate-dipped orange slices on the prepared baking sheet, chocolate side up. Leave a little space between each slice.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt and any optional toppings like crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or edible glitter on top of each slice.

Chill and Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened completely.

Serve: Once set, transfer the chocolate-coated orange slices to a serving plate. Enjoy them as a refreshing snack or a delightful dessert!
