Ingredients

2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

After rinsing the chickpeas, pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This will help them become crispy during roasting.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric, sea salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Add the dried chickpeas to the bowl and toss them well to ensure they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.

Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even roasting, until they are golden and crispy.

Once out of the oven, let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley before enjoying!
