Ingredients

1 pound of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced

6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup ranch dressing

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. If using, add the chopped spinach to the mixture and stir to combine.

Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.

Add the Filling: Spread the chicken and bacon filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Roll the Stromboli: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough up tightly like a jelly roll. Pinch the seams together to seal, and tuck the ends under.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Score the Top: Use a sharp knife to make a few shallow cuts on top of the stromboli for ventilation.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the stromboli is golden brown and cooked through.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, take the stromboli out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing.

Enjoy: Serve warm with extra ranch dressing on the side for dipping!
