Ingredients
  

1 (3 oz) package cherry-flavored gelatin

1 cup boiling water

1 cup cold applesauce

1 (14 oz) can whole-berry cranberry sauce

1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, to taste)

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Fresh cherries or apple slices for garnish

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, dissolve the cherry-flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

    Add the cold applesauce and mix well until combined.

      Stir in the whole-berry cranberry sauce. If desired, add granulated sugar to taste.

        If using, fold in chopped walnuts or pecans and mini marshmallows gently, ensuring even distribution.

          Pour the mixture into a gelatin mold or serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

            Once set, carefully unmold onto a serving platter (if using a mold) or serve directly from the dish.

              Garnish with fresh cherries or apple slices before serving.
