1 large loaf of French bread (or Italian bread)

1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (or your choice of toppings)

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)

1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Bread: Slice the French bread lengthwise, making sure not to slice all the way through. Open the loaf slightly to create a pocket for the filling.

      Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, diced bell peppers, black olives, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.

        Add Sauce: Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce on the inside of the bread, both halves.

          Stuff the Bread: Pack the cheese and toppings mixture into the bread pocket. Press down gently to fit as much as possible.

            Bake: Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
