Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with the Italian seasoning until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheeses, covering the surface completely for maximum flavor.

Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight cylinder. Make sure to keep the filling inside.

Pinch the ends of the dough to seal in the filling. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the outside of the roll with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor and a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the roll is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into pinwheels.

Serve warm, with marinara sauce on the side for dipping if desired.
