Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough. Cut the dough into 2-inch squares.

Assemble the Pizza Bombs: Take a square of dough, place a small amount of mozzarella cheese and a couple of slices of pepperoni in the center. Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning on top.

Shape the Bombs: Carefully fold the corners of the dough into the center and pinch to seal, ensuring no filling escapes. Roll gently between your hands to form a ball.

Arrange and Brush: Place the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the tops of each bomb for a golden finish.

Add the Garlic Oil: In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Brush this mixture over each pizza bomb.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
