Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pizza dough

1 egg (for egg wash)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onions are translucent (about 3-5 minutes).

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Beef: Stir in the Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then stir in the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese until combined.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 14 x 10 inches.

Fill the Dough: Spread the beef and cheese mixture down the center of the dough, leaving about an inch of space on the edges.

Roll the Stromboli: Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough over to enclose the filling. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck the ends under.

Egg Wash: Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the top of the stromboli to give it a beautiful golden color when baked.

Bake: Transfer the stromboli to the prepared baking sheet. Cut a few slits in the top for steam to escape, and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
