Ingredients

20 oz. fresh or frozen cheese tortellini

1 lb. thinly sliced sirloin steak

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups provolone cheese, shredded

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: Push the veggies to the side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced sirloin steak. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Mix the steak with the sautéed veggies.

Make the Sauce: Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and provolone cheese until melted and smooth.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss gently to coat them with the rich sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the tortellini to absorb some flavors.

Serve: Divide the cheesesteak tortellini among plates. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra provolone cheese, if desired. Enjoy your comforting bowl of deliciousness!
