Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Prepare Crescent Dough: Unroll one can of the crescent roll dough and lay it in the bottom of the prepared dish, pressing seams together to form a solid crust.

Make Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, sour cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest (if using). Beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.

Spread Filling: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crescent roll crust evenly, spreading it out with a spatula.

Top with Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cheesecake filling like a second layer, pinching seams together.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Cool and Dust: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Garnish: Serve warm or chilled, garnished with fresh berries if desired.
