1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon instant coffee granules (or espresso powder)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Sea salt flakes (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare a Baking Pan: Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal later. Grease it lightly with cooking spray or butter.

    Melt Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, and butter. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.

      Add Coffee and Chocolate: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and stir in the instant coffee granules. Allow it to dissolve completely before adding the chocolate chips. Mix until the chocolate has fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

        Flavor it Up: Remove the saucepan from the heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well to combine.

          Layer with Caramel: Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the fudge, then gently swirl it through with a knife.
