Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Begin by boiling salted water in a large pot. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining and set the pasta aside.

Season the Shrimp and Steak: In a bowl, toss the shrimp and sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they're well-coated.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside with the steak.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.

Add Cheese and Flavor: Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat thoroughly. Gently fold in the seared steak and shrimp, mixing well to combine all flavors.

Serve: Plate the creamy Cajun shrimp and steak Alfredo pasta extravaganza. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for an added freshness.
