Ingredients

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked pasta or rice (for serving)

Instructions

Preparation: Start by seasoning the shrimp and salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Ensure they are well-coated for maximum flavor.

Cook the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside, covering it to keep warm.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink. Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes until fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Allow it to reduce slightly for about 2-3 minutes.

Add Cream and Season: Lower the heat, then stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and smoked paprika. Whisk together until the sauce is smooth and coats the back of a spoon. Let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes until it thickens to your desired consistency. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Combine Everything: Gently add the sautéed shrimp and salmon back into the skillet, allowing them to warm in the sauce for about 1-2 minutes.

Serve: Serve the Cajun shrimp and salmon over cooked pasta or rice. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce over the top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
