Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that the salmon is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Grill/Pan: If using an outdoor grill, preheat to medium-high heat. If using a stovetop, initialize a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Cook the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Place the salmon on the grill or skillet, skin-side down (if applicable). Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the heat. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
