Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Optional: red pepper flakes for added heat

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it’s fully liquefied.

Add Garlic: Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

Pour in Heavy Cream: Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly to combine it with the melted butter and garlic. Allow the mixture to heat through for a couple of minutes.

Incorporate Parmesan: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.

Season the Sauce: Add Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you like extra heat, add red pepper flakes to your liking.

Simmer: Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve over your favorite pasta, chicken, or vegetables.

                Prep Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 15 minutes | Servings: 4-6
