Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

2 cups brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup finely ground almonds (or almond flour)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for a unique flavor twist)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar until well combined.

Allow the butter and sugar mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, walnuts, and white chocolate chips if using.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, cut into squares, serve, and enjoy your rich, brownie indulgence!
