Ingredients

1 can of crescent roll dough (8 oz)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 egg (for egg wash)

Extra powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Stir in the blueberries gently, making sure to keep some whole for texture.

Roll Out the Dough: Open the can of crescent dough and unroll it on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles according to the perforation provided.

Fill the Rolls: Place a generous tablespoon of the blueberry cheesecake filling at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the filling if desired. Carefully roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.

Egg Wash: Beat the egg in a small bowl. Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the egg wash to create a golden finish during baking.

Bake: Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Cool and Dust: Once baked, remove from the oven and let the rolls cool for a few minutes. Optionally, dust with extra powdered sugar for a sweet touch.

Serve: Enjoy your Blueberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls warm or at room temperature. Perfect for brunch or dessert!
