For the Cream Cheese Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cake Batter:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries (and extra for garnish, if desired)

For the Topping:

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:

    - In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

      Make the Cake Batter:

        - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

          - In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

            - Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix in the sour cream until well combined.

              - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

                - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

                  - Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, leaving some aside for garnishing.

                    Assemble the Cake:

                      - Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out evenly.

                        - Spread the cream cheese filling over the layer of batter, leaving a small border around the edges.

                          - Carefully spoon the remaining cake batter on top, spreading it to cover the cream cheese layer.

                            Prepare the Topping:

                              - In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.

                                - Sprinkle the topping evenly over the coffee cake batter. Add any leftover blueberries on top for garnish.

                                  Bake the Cake:

                                    - Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. The top should be golden brown.

                                      Cool and Serve:

                                        - Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

                                          - Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea for the perfect morning treat!
