Bite-Sized Pepperoni Pizza Minis

Ingredients
  

1 package of pre-made biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup mini pepperoni slices

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Olive oil for brushing

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a round disk about ¼ inch thick using your palms or a rolling pin.

      Place each flattened biscuit on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between each one.

        Spoon about 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce onto the center of each biscuit disk, leaving a little border around the edges.

          Sprinkle each mini pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese, evenly distributing it across the disks.

            Add a generous handful of mini pepperoni slices on top of the cheese for that classic pizza flavor.

              In a small bowl, mix the Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the mini pizzas for added flavor.

                Brush the edges of each biscuit with a little olive oil to promote a golden color while baking.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                    Once baked, allow them to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm.
