Ingredients

1 pound of beef sirloin, cut into thin strips

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

2 cups egg noodles, uncooked

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil and sauté the beef strips until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant and translucent. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender, about 5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Return the beef to the skillet, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Prepare Noodles: In a large pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Mix Casserole: In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with cooked noodles and sour cream. Stir until everything is well coated.

Assemble the Casserole: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
