Ingredients

4 large croissants

200g (7 oz) sliced ham

200g (7 oz) Swiss cheese, sliced

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard and honey until well combined.

Slice each croissant in half horizontally, without cutting all the way through.

Spread a layer of the mustard-honey mix on the inside of each croissant.

Layer two slices of ham on the bottom half of each croissant.

Top the ham with two slices of Swiss cheese.

Close the croissant gently and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In another small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the croissants.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before garnishing with fresh parsley.
