Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish (9x13 inches works well).

Prepare the Shrimp: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cleaned shrimp with melted butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well-coated.

Layer the Shrimp: Transfer the shrimp mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Make the Crust: In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Drizzle a little melted butter (about 1 tablespoon) into the mixture and stir until it's evenly moistened.

Add Topping: Sprinkle the panko-Parmesan mixture evenly over the shrimp, ensuring they are generously covered.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy.

Serve: Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve right away with lemon wedges for an extra zing.
